Connecting during COVID
Hello and we hope this finds you well!
Are you looking for ways to connect with others in our church community? Are you looking to get out and about with others?
Or, are you interested in hosting an activity/event, or starting a small life group?
We want to provide opportunities for people within our community to connect in person during this time of physical distancing. We are in the midst of putting together COVID-19 safety protocols for some gatherings that will happen at our Ministry Centre around late August and into the fall, but we are conscious that, in the meantime, we also need to spend time with each other.
For some who are currently involved in Life Groups, it has been easier to connect. At the same time, we want to reach out to those of you who are not currently part of a Life Group, or who are not finding connection within our community.
If you are looking to spend some time with others in our church, please respond to this email, letting us know that you are willing to be contacted and invited to either a current Life Group or whether you would prefer some Coast Hills “meet-up” events that we are planning. The meet-up events are set to begin in early August, and might include a hike, a bike ride, a beach day, a park picnic or some other kind of small gathering.
We would also like to hear from you if you are interested in leading an activity, have an idea for an event, or are willing to be considered to start a life group.
While COVID-19 has created challenges for so many church communities, we want to courageously be creative within our church. Our desire is to responsibly embrace this opportunity to provide ongoing care for each other and expand our circle to include those who may be on the outside, but are looking for ways to understand and know Jesus better.
